Comprehensive In-Home ABA Therapy

About Us

Pivotal Behavior Solutions is a locally owned and operated Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy provider specializing in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and problem behaviors.

We specialize in providing in-home therapy because we believe it has numerous advantages over center-based care. Most importantly, therapy provided in the home offers parents or guardians an opportunity to engage in the process, resulting in greater consistency and superior results for the recipient of ABA therapy

Yvie Birks – Pivotal’s founder and director – is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and alumna of the nation’s premiere ABA graduate program at Florida State University. She has worked in the direct application and oversight of ABA therapy for almost 15 years and prides herself on providing the highest quality care based on the latest scientific methods

Pivotal Behavior’s approach to ABA is so effective because all of our staff are highly trained, educated, and truly believe in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. Pivotal consistently produces superior results because we only employ behavior analysts who are passionate about their profession and dedicated to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis

In-Home Care

Our BCBA and RBT therapists specialize in the focused application of ABA therapy in the home and in public where problem behaviors are most prevalent.

We are experts in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and ADHD/ADD.

Pivotal’s behavioral therapists excel at addressing sleep, hygiene, and eating issues, language development, social skills training, and eliminating tantrums and aggressive behavior.

Parent Training

The success of an individual receiving ABA therapy is largely dependent on consistency, and the more involved parents are in the process of ABA therapy the better. Parents who learn to apply the principles of ABA will see their children learn and progress, and overcome problem behaviors much more rapidly.

Training in ABA is offered to the parents/guardians of individuals receiving ABA therapy, as well as in one-on-one and group classes.

Targeting Specific Behaviors

Our therapists can be employed to address specific behaviors on a consultative basis.

ABA is particularly effective at problem behavior reduction, rapid toilet training, and social skills development for any child, not just those on the Autism Spectrum.

At School

Pivotal Behavior Solution’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are available to help individual students, teachers, schools, and school districts in the application of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Teachers and faculty who learn to consistently apply the principles of ABA can expect to see reduced problem behaviors and a more favorable learning environment for all of their students.
